Hi Everyone,
It was reading Scott Alexander's book "Rhinoceros Success" that first gave me the idea that I was a rhino.
If you've read the book, you know that Scott Alexander tells the story of the cows and rhinos. Cows are people that follow the masses, always following the herd and doing exactly what they're told to do. People that are working a job, going mindlessly through their day following others. They don't really think for themselves and if they attempt to leave the herd the herd starts "mooing" at them to return...and many cows do.
The rhino on the other hand, is charging through the jungle going after his/her goal. The rhino has arrows flying at him and hitting him but that doesn't stop the rhino. No! He continues to charge until he reaches his goal. Not much bothers the rhino because of his thick skin. The rhino only follows what he believes and goes the opposite way of the masses. Definitely not a mindless worker bee, always "in charge" and knowing that he's responsible for his results...and would ONLY have it that way.
This website is with the greatest respect to all the rhinos out there who have the arrows flying at him/her. Keep charging my friends!
And for those of you that think you're a cow...you just haven't tapped into your rhino self yet. We welcome you and now it's time to re-discover your rhino self!
Charge On,
Bill
