Benefits of Visualization
Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 7:35PM "Stop daydreaming."
Ever hear that one from your parents or teachers?
They always seemed to associate daydreaming with lack of focus.
Who knew that daydreaming was actually visualization?
Yes, there are benefits of visualization!
“To bring anything into your life, imagine that it's already there.” Richard Bach
One of the greatest benefits for you is that visualization is how it makes you feel. It feels good when you allow your mind to create your future. The best thing? You're in charge of your visualization, you get to decide what happens, who's in it, what you're creating and how the mental movie plays out. You're the director of your own mental movie!
Enjoy this creative time! It's all yours and you can create whatever you want.
I've created my home through visualization. I got very clear about what exactly I wanted in a house.
I actually thought I would build another home so that I could have all the qualities that I wanted in a home such as land, lots of trees, 4 bed/4 bath, fireplace, pool, deer and animals around, a garden, large porch, agricultural exemption....I was right on except the agricultural exemption! Bill and I would have many conversations about what we wanted in a home. We talked about it all the time and I spent a lot of time visualizing it. Benefits of visualization? How about creating the goal! That's right, I didn't have to build a house, mine was waiting for me!
It's time for you to dream big creating your ideal life.
First you must decide exactly what you want. If you don't know what you want, how do you expect to receive it?
This visualization time allows you to connect with your goal. See it and feel it, because it is yours! I love this time because I can live as I am already in possession of my goal.
One of the greatest benefits of visualization? It's a whole lot of fun!
And the thing is, when you really do achieve your goal you feel like you've already "been there, done that."
I've created that feeling for myself over and over through the benefits of visualization..
It's a relaxed feeling when you create the goal because you've "seen it first."
I expected to achieve my goal, it was not a matter of "if" I would achieve my goal, it was a matter of "when" I would. Get that and visualizations are such a blast!
Today's Opportunity: Take 10 minutes and create your life with visualization.
I'll look forward to hearing the benefits of visualization for you!
